Abstract :
A teletraffic system model has been developed for the Melbourne central business district, based on the microcellular mobile concept. A set of simulations has been developed to evaluate the implications of the use of very small cells on the traffic performance in this specified service area. This model is used to investigate the balance between the new call blocking and the handoff call blocking for such a system
