Abstract :
With the development of computer technology and the communication network, higher request on the electrical power system´s protection is given as well. Firstly, the important function of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is introduced in this paper, then its classification, the principle and the common breakdown are elaborated. Finally, according to the performances and characteristics of UPS, the usage and maintenance is given to display the function effectively, reduce the harm to UPS, and lengthen service life of UPS.
