Abstract :
According to 3GPP specifications, the widely used process and data structure of LTE system level simulation cannot support coordinated transmission limited by its data structure and principles of design. In this paper, we design and implement a CoMP-ready Matlab-based LTE system level simulator upgraded from our previous version, which can support coordinated transmission. Comparison of 3GPP LTE proposals and our simulation result is given to prove our design.
