Abstract :
The capabilities are presented of a new way of active protection from explosion effects on the people, buildings and industrial equipment. Unlike to the conventional absolutely mechanical ways of the protection the new one combines mechanical and electrical elements. It is based on the well-known magnetic cumulation effect allowing conversing the explosion product kinetic energy in the electromagnetic field energy, which can be transmitted away from protected objects at a safe distance.
