Abstract
We study the behavior of different window adaptation strategies over a wireless link subject to correlated losses. The different window adaptation policies considered are the various combinations of additive/multiplicative increase and additive/multiplicative decrease. We show that the multiplicative increase/additive decrease policy has the best throughput performance and is also the most robust under different scenarios. We also show that all the different window adaptation policies perform identically at very high values of the packet loss probability
