Abstract :
Summary form only given. The equation for slowly variable and smooth envelope of the electromagnetic wave packet in inhomogeneous medium with time dispersion is obtained in quasi-optic approximation. The equation is written in a curvilinear orthogonal coordinate system connected with the geometrical-optics ray, along which the packet "center of mass" is moving, and has a form of Schroedinger\´s equation for a linear oscillator with changing in time parameters of the parabolic potential cavity. The effects of refraction, diffraction and dispersion joint influence on the packet envelope precession around the binormal on the propagation trace are analyzed
