Abstract :
Current load balancing in J2EE platform dominatingly is computer-scale mechanism, which has to be implemented on clusters of computers. In this paper a novel, dynamic capacity assignment method for EJB instance pools is presented. Our approach can operate on single computer and thus can function as a light-weighted load balancing for J2EE distributed computing. In this study after the introduction of the domain scenario and related work, an optimization model is built and then a real coded genetic algorithm is designed to solve it. Experiments and analysis show the validity of our method
