Abstract
A cross-correlation algorithm is used to identify the induction motor rotor time constant. This algorithm generates a pseudorandom binary sequences and makes a cross-correlation calculus on-line. The binary sequence generation period is adjusted to have the desired frequency. This algorithm identifies a sudden rotor time constant variations leading to some sort of real time adaptive control system. The identification algorithm is programmed in a fixed point digital signal processing card (ADSP-2105)
