Abstract :
We have studied the discharges occurring in models of impregnated capacitors and have compared them to those occurring in point-plane configurations in air and in cyclohexane. The magnitude and the number of discharges are reported as a function of time or voltage phase. From these graphs some usual statistical parameters are calculated. We also introduced new coefficients which seemed to be meaningful. We propose numerical values of these parameters when they appeared to be relevant, that is to say when they are independent of the applied voltage and the observation time
