Abstract :
Summary form only given. Dielectric materials based on the BaTiO 3 and BaNbO3 are investigated in order to used as a microwave resonators. Other metal dopants such as Ca, Zn, Nd, Ce and Mg has been used. The influence of small additions of these dopants on the microwave characteristics have been investigated. Then some of the interesting dielectric properties have been studied. The dielectrics from the system MgTiO3-CaTiO3 are of specific interest due to their high quality (Q) factor. Furthermore, the MgTiO 3-CaTiO3 dielectrics ceramic has a considerably lower price and is fabricated using simpler technology. The examination of variants of this system is of scientific and practical interest
