Abstract :
NGN equipment manufacturers present their own solutions in order to implement NGN architecture in telecom networks. The IMS-TISPAN model is reference for these solutions. This model only defines NGN functionalities, so there are various solutions to map these functions to physical nodes. In this paper we compared Siemens, Ericsson, ZTE and Huawei solutions with IMS-TISPAN model and then, we present a practical NGN model for design of telecom network based on IMS-TISPAN model.
