Abstract :
Oversampling sigma-delta (ΣΔ) modulators using switched current (SI) techniques are presented. The first modulator is a 1-1 MASH modulator. The second structure is a second-order loop which is formed by a 1-bit quantizer with two feedback loops. The device ratio insensitive SI integrator is designed by using two class AB-regulated cascode dynamic current copiers. The effects of the current copier and SI integrator errors on the performance of the modulators are also discussed
