Abstract :
With the constant development of embedded computing, the traditional map format widely used on disks that based on variants of R-Tree index update mechanism is not fit to be used in an embedded environment, NAND Flash, and other new high-performance storage devices. RBD-Tree is a spatial index structure which is independent on storage device, and therefore the update method of the index tree based on the RBD-Tree according to read and write characteristics of NAND is optimized, and focuses on design and implementation of a new map format.
