Abstract
This paper investigates the influences of soldering ribbon and soldering temperature on the performance of one-cell string by discussing the crucial factor of series resistance and power loss. By considering the mechanism of current transmission, we found that the soldering temperature can bring different contact effects to one-cell string when using different copper thickness of ribbons. These contact effects will be somewhat reduced in the module end application because enough series resistance of ribbons and the real current transmission situation in the module will decrease these contact effects arising from soldering process.
