Abstract :
The radiation of radio frequency noise from power transmission lines has been analyzed using a three dimensional method of moments (3D-MoM) considering the towers and buildings at a DC-to-AC-converter station. The towers and the buildings reflect the electromagnetic waves. A 1/400 scale reduction model of the station has been fabricated for measurements to confirm the MoM analysis. The miniature model simulates the towers, the buildings and the geometry. The measured electromagnetic fields agree with the calculated fields
