Abstract :
An automatic computer model for power system fault location, fault isolation and supply restoration is presented. The model works as an integrated part of SCADA and distribution network automation systems. Three techniques are used for fault location, distance computation, fault indicators and statistical data of fault frequencies. Once the faulty section is identified, it is automatically isolated and the supply is restored to the remaining parts of the power network
