Abstract
In this paper, we develop potentiostatic biosensors and biological monitoring records in cloud computing for home care application. In home care application, the potentiostatic biosensors are designed to examine some important biomarkers such as albumin, uric acid, glucose, urea, creatine and creatinine in urine, which are correlated with kidney function. The examined results of these biomarkers will be transmitted to the server in cloud by Wi-Fi wireless communication, and then will be translated into biological monitoring results and be stored in the biological monitoring records. The users can retrieve these records by means of a smart phone or a remote PC through internet at any time and any place to understand their health condition. Meanwhile, doctors can monitor patients´ health conditions in long-term care according to the proposed biological monitoring record. The experimental results show that the proposed system has the merits of good accuracy, low cost, and long-term care capability.
