Advanced control methods and technologies for two industrial processes

The paper presents a survey of the current methodology and practice in the control of grinding circuits in industrial ball mills and the methods for renovation of shafts for extruding of sheet material. Modern control strategies applied in the grinding circuit of ball mills are compared and analyzed. Also, different electro-physical and electro-chemical methods for renovation of shafts are discussed and an innovative technology for laying a nickel coating with nano-particles and nano-dispersoids is outlined.
