  • Abstract
A review on some applications of magnetic microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) is presented. The areas of application are numerous ranging from biomedical, wireless communication and power supplies to name but a few. The primary focus within this paper will be a general review on the application of microinductors and micro transformers within power supplies utilising magnetically soft alloys. Exemplars of such microscale magnetic components are drawn from the authorspsila own work and other significant literature in the area.
