Abstract
Remote teaching is becoming widely performed in both university and high school. Technical subject requires the students to be involved in laboratory activities and hence many proposals have been done to allow remote experiments. The main drawback of such approaches is that students can not improve their manual skill in handling instruments and circuit components, which is probably the most important purpose of laboratory activity. In this paper, an approach aimed at overcoming such an issue is presented. In particular, the student has to setup a copy of the actual measurement bench remotely located in a laboratory by using real components and devices simulating the actual instrumentation as well as generators. Then he uses virtual instrumentation techniques to control the remote bench, in the same way as he was in a real student laboratory
