Abstract
In this paper, a precision 2.5V bandgap voltage reference (BGR) implemented in a commercial 0.6μm mixed-signal CMOS process is presented. This circuit operates on the single power supply of +5V. Experimental results show that the circuit designed delivers an output voltage of 2.5V and achieves the high initial accuracy of better than 0.25% at room temperature, temperature coefficient of 5.3ppm/°C over a wide temperature range of -25°C to +125° after trimming, and the power supply rejection raito (PSRR) of 62dB are achieved. The silicon area of the circuit is about 1.5mm2 which is very suitable for the high resolution data converters.
