Abstract
A original approach is presented for the problem of nonlinear control for sensorless induction motor drives. Two aspects are studied in this paper, the rotor flux and rotation speed simultaneous observation and the nonlinear control of the induction motor. The use of the Popov hyperstability theory permits to realize an adaptive state observer (MRAS technique). The speed and flux controllers can be defined only after an "input-output linearization procedure" of the PWM inverter fed induction motor drive. The overall control system (observer structure and control laws) is developed around the DSP 32C from AT&T society.
