  • Abstract
    A method for determination of the DC motor torque-speed characteristic with no mechanical load attachment is reported in this paper. The recursive least square parameter identification was used to calculate the motor parameters from the test results. The torque-speed characteristic was then determined from the estimated motor parameters using a steady state model. The results of the this new test method are reliable and satisfactory, and the test system will be used on the production line for the final test.
