Abstract
In the future, intelligent sensors will be connected through networks, each node having its own autonomy, heterogeneity, and being in dynamic environments. We call them heterogeneous autonomous decentralized systems (HADS). Autonomy is an essential characteristic of HADS. In this paper the application scenario, technical challenge, and spatial and temporal measurements of sensor networks are discussed. When extending traditional ADS technologies to sensor networks, we proposed technical problems from an autonomous coordination point of view, which are based on those measurements. It will research into sensor networks.
