Abstract
The stochastic model of the discharge channels growth has been created. It is the known fractal dielectric breakdown model modification. The changing channel conduction and physical time were introduced in the model. The space-time and current characteristics of the growing discharge structure were investigated at different applied voltage values. The growth of the filamentary, dendrite and bush-like discharge structures were simulated in the three dimensional space. The quantitative comparison of the simulation results and the experimental data on transformer oil breakdown have been presented
