Abstract :
It is described the architecture of the electronics for the control of a wireless endoscopic capsule, with locomotive capabilities and advanced sensing and actuating functions. The architecture chosen provides enough flexibility to allow managing of core and switchable functions. Flexibility is assured with an on-chip micro-processor. Operation under different scenarios is possible by using a specifically designed interface chip able to manage all the required sensors and actuators.
