Abstract :
The currently applied wood drying methods can hardly achieve the 3 drying objectives of energy saving, time saving and high quality. This article proposes the wood drying method by high frequency discharge combining with hot water contact and conduction method, for which the analysis of energy transmission and experiment of comparative advantages are conducted, and the experiment was completed respectively on the tanks with volumes of 0.05m3, 1m3 and 6m3. It´s concluded that drying by combining high frequency discharge (mainly by electric energy) and contact/conduction (mainly by heat energy) can remarkably shorten the cycle and improve quality.
