Abstract
The welding strengths of different CuCr contact materials are measured and the fracture morphologies are observed by scanning electron microscope. Experimental results show that carbon added to CuCr alloys can improve the anti-welding property. Carbide films on the surface of Cr particles reduce the fracture stress of CuCr alloys and influence the microstructure of the weld zone.<>
