Abstract :
An on-site measurement of photovoltaic (PV) system is one of the most important technologies for maintenance of PV system in order to assure the reliability of the PV system. Almost of all on-site measurement for PV system are based on the measurement of I–V curve; however, the procedure of the measurement is not defined. The simple failure detection method with I–V curve measurement is proposed, and an example results in the field test in Japan shows in this paper.
