  • Abstract
    This paper focuses mainly on magnesium nitrate hexahydrate and magnesium chloride hexahydrate mixture as a base phase change material (m-PCM). Sodium salt of carboxyl methyl cellulose (CMC) was added as an additive to avoid phase segregation of the mixture (c-PCM). Thermal property of the materials was characterized by DSC approach. The micro-morphology change of the materials was investigated by thermo-optical microscope (TOM) at different temperatures.
