            Abstract : 
High-channel capacity is demonstrated with a 36-nm gain-flattened erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) with over 28 dBm output power. Wavelength-multiplexed and Raman-based pump sources are used to achieve the high output maintaining telecom grade reliability.
