Abstract
The problem of expanding the capacity of a single facility in telecommunications network planning is addressed. Two models, corresponding to two different policies to approach the problem, are developed and tested. The first policy looks for the best solution in each isolated period the second one is a multi-period point of view. Computational results show that the second policy is considerably better.
