Abstract
Error-free 1.24 Gb/s OCDM transmission over 40 km by using spectral bipolar coding of broadband incoherent light has been demonstrated for the first time. The proposed system using broadband incoherent light source will simplify the system design and enhance the flexibility of future optical networks.
