Abstract :
Based on the modeling technique of B-spline curve and surface, a B-spline space curved surface in On´111 coordinate system is constructed for the representation of the complete characteristics of pump-turbine in this paper, in order to eliminate the multi-valued and non-corresponding problems existing in the plane curve representation. The theoretical analysis and the actual results show that by using this method, the two problems mentioned before can be overcomed, as well as a random opening curve and operating point on the characteristics space surface can be easily obtained through the surface interpolation.
