Abstract
The generalization form of energy balance (EB) model for voltage mode DC/DC converters operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is presented in this paper based on energy conservation principle. The stability condition is given at the energy point of view based on EB model. The condition is helpful to stability estimation of various parameter variations that were analyzed separately before. The generalization EB model and stability estimation condition can be applied to other types of power converters in DCM.
