Abstract :
We describe an all-fiber add-drop multiplexer constructed with readily available components: a tilted fiber Bragg grating in a two-mode fiber and mode-selective directional couplers. The simple configuration allows the implementation of standard fiber Bragg grating technologies for improved performance.
