Abstract :
The embedded real-time operating system is expected to process the massive real-time information and the historical data. Data files are stored in the large-capacity external storage media by file system, which allows users to read or write new information at any time. This article describes real-time embedded operating system Asix OS, which plays the software-platform role for file system. Then, the implementation of FAT file system is explained, including the design of file system storage management module, the design of file management module and the design of file system application interface module. All the work described in the paper has been finished. FAT file system based on Asix OS can steadily run in Garfield system and adopted the functional tests, including creating directory, deleting directory, opening document, wring document, deleting document and searching document.
