Abstract
A BiCMOS VLSI implementation of programmable neural network with sensor fusion is described. A photosensitive array acts as the input to a hybrid multi-layer neural network with integrated synaptic weight-distributed neuron modules. The design offers increased photosensor performance together with robustness, modularity, high interconnection density and an area efficient layout.
