Abstract :
A PSK, QPSK, FSK receiver for millimeter wave wireless communication system is presented in this paper. The receiver is based on software radio for PSK, QPSK and FSK demodulation with 40MHz band. The DDC (Digital Down Conversion), DDS (Direct Digital synthesizer), digital Costas loop and data interface has been implemented by using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) to reduce receiver size. The receiver has 20Mbps data rate in PSK mode, 40Mbps in QPSK mode and 5Mbps in FSK mode at a bit-error rate of 10-6.
