Abstract
In this paper, interdependency between differential-mode (DM) and common-mode (CM) signals in fully-differential (FD) Gm-C filters is investigated. It was found that although DM signals are signals of interest in FD circuit, CM signals have non-negligible influence on the DM signals and vice versa. Based on the perturbation concept and state-space representation, closed-form solution of the harmonic distortion of the FD Gm-C filter is derived and compared to the simulation results.
