QuickFrame - A Fast Development Tool for Mobile Applications

Pervasive computing provides an attractive way to access information anywhere, anytime. However, a considerable obstacle to achieving pervasiveness is the absence of a framework to enable the development of applications that are more adjustable to the ever-changing devices models, capabilities and technologies. This paper introduces the QuickFrame, a development framework that allows mobile applications to run in many different mobile devices. Because QuickFrame has a standard specification language, the application interface can be defined, specific device capabilities can be checked and user interface can be previewed, eliminating some of the problems caused by the great number of mobile devices specifications
