  • Abstract
    This paper presents the conformance testing of the Internet protocol version 4 by using a protocol integrated test system (PITS). We use the distributed test method and the remote traverse test method to test the IP end system and the IP relay system of the Internet, respectively. The IP test suites in TTCN are derived by an automatic test suite generator in the PITS. Practical application of IP conformance test is also discussed
