  • Abstract
    The characteristics of wind turbine is not only the static characteristics, but also dynamic characteristics. Based on a complete model of directly driven type permanent magnet synchronous of wind turbine, the affects of third harmonic caused by wind shear effect and tower shadow effect on PMSG wind power generation system are researched in detail on this paper. Applying equivalent torque thoughts make the traditional model of the wind turbine more actualization. The model of PMSG and the case of wind speed change verifies the validity of the model have been realized with the engineering software, Matlab/Simulink. The conclusion of third harmonic pulsating torque caused by wind shear effect and tower shadow effect on wind power generation system has been proved. The simulation results for directly driven type permanent magnet synchronous wind power will be more actualization than before.
