Abstract
A farm chemical sprayer injection pump and controller was developed for a wide range of flow conditions. The pump accurately dispenses chemicals to be mixed with a measured water flow. This system is based on two pistons that are alternatively filled with chemical which is then injected into the water flow. The movement of these pistons is at low velocity and is controlled by stepper motors with accurately controlled solenoid valves at the inlet and outlets. This provides a continuous flow of chemical and an accuracy that is not affected by varying fluid properties and flow conditions. The design is ideal for chemical injection sprayer application
