  • Abstract
    Transmission of 40-Gbit/s data over 186.6 km of installed standard fiber has been demonstrated for the first time to our knowledge using phase conjugation by four-wave mixing in a semiconductor opitcal amplifier (SOA) for dispersion compensation.
