Abstract
The signal reaching the GPS receiver is very weak and well below the noise floor, hence be sensitive to any interference. In the strong interference environment, the conventional approach of processing GPS signal fails. In this paper, the recursive least-squares-version (RLS-version) algorithm for suppressing the strong interference based on the minimum-variance distortionless response (MVDR) criterion, which is different from the ordinary RLS algorithm requiring the desired information, is proposed. The convergence performance of this algorithm is analyzed. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate this RLS-type algorithm has an excellent ability for mitigating jams.
