Abstract :
A unique wind turbine is described. The use of delta-shaped air foils with a flat trailing edge, along with a counterbalanced mechanism, have made this water pumper twice as effective as previous models, giving effective pumping in excess of 1000 feet of lift. To date it has been most effective and reliable. Its performance and reliability may rejuvenate interest in using wind power for livestock watering, and perhaps an even larger interest in use as a pump to flood wet lands or to dewater tail ponds and seepage problem areas in irrigated lands
