Abstract :
In this paper, a new digital image stabilization (DIS) algorithm based on Circular-Projection is proposed to stabilize videos captured by self-rotating crafts. Considering the features of rotation movements and requirements of real-time, polar transformation and gradient projection are integrated into the algorithm, and DaVinci DM6446 ARM+DSP dual-core platform is utilized to build the system. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm with this embedded system can achieve good stabilizing accuracy with processing speed of 38.3 fps for 480×320 video sequences.
