Abstract :
We performed all-optical wavelength conversion of return-to-zero data at 10 Gbit/s using a semiconductor-optical-amplifier/fiber-Bragg-grating hybrid device and propagated the converted data error-free over 20,000 km in a dispersion-managed system.
