Abstract :
In this paper, a new algorithm of frequency and 2-D DOA (direction-of-arrival) joint estimation employing L-shape arrays using pseudocovariance matrices is addressed. Firstly, pseudocovariance matrices are constructed using the covariance of sensors along the z-axis and x-axis respectively. Then signal subspaces are obtained using singular value decomposition (SVD) technique for the two pseudocovariance matrices. Frequency and 2-D DOA estimation is obtained by ESPRIT-like technique. Simulation results show that the proposed method has very attractive 3-D estimation performance, high DOA separation.
